Halloween

Both Kylee and Dexter are vampires this year. They look awesome!!!

Small Roof Wall

It has been so cold lately that Bruce put boards and plastic up over all of the doors and windows.

This is where we are today.

Lance, Bruce and Fernando have been building the little wall that will hide the edges of the roof layers as well as keep the soil from sliding off.

We have started hearing strange sounds around the house. We think it might be haunted. We caught a glimpse of what might be causing the hauntings.

Final Wall Pour!!!

Thanks for your help Rod!

The pour went really well. The weather was nice, a lot warmer than the last pour.

Update for the week

Lance was sneaking the candy. I noticed.

The two sliding doors will go in there leading to the deck on top of the garage.

We did get electricity. That was a good day!

A front view.

The trusses are going up next week!

Our last house wall pour is tomorrow. It is so awesome to be at this point.

Fourth Pour

It is really coming along. It is so exciting each pour to see the end result.

All of the smurf tube has been cast into place so that we will be able to run our wires to the outlet boxes. Check out the snow on the mountains in the background. It was cold for this pour. Winter is coming I hope that we get the roof on before the snow is here to stay. We are close only one more wall pour and a little half wall for the roof left!

This was at the end of the pour, some left over concrete was oozing out of the end of the pump hose. The hose looks little but it is really heavy full of concrete.

The fourth pour went well. It was the quickest house pour yet.
