Soda Blasting the Walls

Lance blasted an old bomb to clean the paint off. I am not sure what it is going to be used for but it was pretty funny to have a bomb in the bedroom.

Lance wore an awesome suit. He looks super cute.

The air was full of soda.

We borrowed a soda blaster from a friend to clean some of the streaking and staining off of the walls.

Sliding Glass Doors

Lance put in the sliding glass doors. Every new step is exciting.

Concrete

You would think by now we would be a little tired of concrete but each pour is exciting.

The finished floors

The guys finishing the floor.

The garage floor!

Skylight

Lance has been building something for the skylight. I believe it is for the glass to sit on. I don't really know how it will all work though.

A Few Walls

A few of the walls have been partially put up and one of them has been sheetrocked and painted.

Landing

The front door landing has been built. There will be a few steps down to the main floor and the staircase to the upstairs that will come off of it.

Upstairs Infloor Tubing

First Snow

This is the first snow fall for the house. Right after I took this picture the wind really picked up and blew it all away.

Garage Infloor Heat Tubing

We tied all of the tubing to the rebar in the garage to get ready for concrete

Garage Floor

We are getting ready to pour the garage floor.

We are getting pretty good at pouring concrete.

Dexter

Poor dog can't catch a break. Last year he had a broken leg and this year he has a torn ligament on the same leg. He is a cutie though.

Pavers on the Deck

Most of the pavers are on the deck It looks so good. It really made the space look big. We are going to have a lot of fun times out on the deck!

Kylee was an awesome help she had a fun time making the pattern.

My family helped with the pavers this weekend. Thanks guys.

Grading The Yard

There was a lot of dirt that was moved around. I believe that the yard is pretty close to grade now but there is still a long way to go on the yard.

Lance Has Backing Skills

Lance backed the gigantic forklift into the garage in the dark. Now that is some skill.

First Outlet and Shedtastic Power

We have power in the shed, an outlet and a light! We have the coolest shed on the block.

This is the only source of electricity that we have in the house. The cool thing about that is that it is inThe House.

Windows Are In...at Least Some of Them

We have all of the smaller windows in! The larger ones were ordered and will be here in a few weeks.

Fillin' The Holes

The stoppers were put in with a hammer and a little tool.

Now it is filled. The stoppers are both the inside and the outside with spray foam in between for insulation.
This is the hole left over from the form ties that needed to be filled.
He is cute!

Lance cut all of the rubber stoppers down to fit the holes in the walls. We had 1,800 stoppers that needed to be cut. Lance did it 8 at a time.
Remember Chemistry Class....Rubber Stoppers!
